Photography and Intuition - An Introductory Course to Develop Your Awarenes

I am developing an introductory course - Intuition in Photography (working title). This introductory course gives students a foundational understanding of how intuition can enhance their photography. It balances learning with hands-on practice, helping students begin to trust their instincts and see the world with a fresh perspective.

Intuition in photography refers to the ability to make creative decisions instinctively, without overthinking or relying solely on technical rules. It’s that gut feeling or inner voice that guides you to capture a particular moment, angle, or composition that feels right, even if you can’t immediately explain why. Intuition allows photographers to connect more deeply with their subject, environment, and the emotions they want to convey, leading to images that resonate on a personal and emotional level.

Please respond to this blog if you are interested or email me at barbara@batistamoon.com. Seating will be limited. The course will start in the Fall and meet every 2 weeks, 4 classes. Thank you.

Batista Moon Studio News - Moving

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Hearts,

After 33 beautiful years in our cherished rental home, we find ourselves at a crossroads. Our journey here has been filled with countless memories. But now, circumstances beyond our control necessitate a significant change in our lives. The landlord has passed away and the house will be sold.

For three decades, this house has been more than just a structure; it's been the center of our lives, work and community. It's where we celebrated birthdays, holidays, and milestones. It's where we weathered storms and found solace in each other's embrace. However, as much as we've loved and nurtured this place, the passage of time has brought inevitable challenges.

The decision to leave behind our home was not ours to make. However, we're excited about the new possibilities that lie ahead. A smaller, more accessible space will allow us to focus on our health and spend quality time with loved ones. However, transitioning after so many years presents its own set of financial hurdles.

This is where we humbly reach out to you, our community, for support. We're setting up this GoFundMe campaign to help cover the costs of moving and settling into a new home. Your generous contributions will go towards packing and transportation expenses, securing a new living space.

Your support means more to us than words can express. Whether it's a small donation, a heartfelt message, or simply sharing our story with others, every gesture brings us closer to our goal. Together, we can turn the page to this new chapter in our lives with hope and gratitude.

Thank you for being a part of our journey, and for helping us embark on this new adventure after 33 wonderful years in our home.

With love and appreciation, Barbara and Fernando Batista
