Polaroid Impossible Project

Polaroid went the way of the Dodo Bird last year leaving those artists who worked with the medium in the "dark". The only ray of hope was a crazy group of people who managed to purchase a factory from Polaroid Corp and reinvent the process. The new material called Silver Shade for the SX70 camera has been out a couple of weeks but I just now got my hands on a box and the time to shoot it. It is lovely. The film is a soft sepia shade depending on how you expose and develop it. Variables are temperature and temperature. The cartridge comes with 8 sheets of instant film. It took the first 4 sheets to get the hang of it but after that it worked beautifully. The following image is a composition of the last 4 images placed on our scanner Epson V750 Pro.
