The Monterey History and Art Association (MHAA) has launched an exhibit that we are proud to be a part of along with Carol Chapman, Susan Manchester and Erin Lee Gafil. The exhibit went up on October 14th and we had a reception on October 22 from 3-5. Thank you to all of the friends who came by and helped us celebrate this honor. The concept is to show the work of artists who have used the Doud House in Monterey as their studio and creative space over the past 7 years. Located at 5 Custom House Plaza in Monterey, Hours T-Sun 10-5. It is worth a trip to see our work up but the other exhibits are quite thought provoking and modern. It is a really nice addition to the peninsula. The new Director is Lisa Coscino who many of you may know from her years as a gallery owner in Pacific Grove. Lisa brings a lot of experience to the job and her unique viewpoint will keep the future quite interesting for all of us. We want to thank her for all of the work getting this exhbit up and curating it so beautifully. The image you see above is one chosen for an overview of our work in that time period. A special thank to Glenn Gobel Frames in Pacific Grove for donating the frames for some of our polaroid transfer prints.
